About The Position

This part-time position involves caring for and educating future bilingual leaders, specifically preschoolers, in a safe, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment. The role focuses on assisting in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared toward hands-on learning, sharing Latin culture and the Spanish language, and reinforcing classroom rules using positive discipline. Teachers will collaborate with colleagues, provide individualized attention to help children reach their full potential, document daily activities and developmental growth, and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and team members.

Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent required
• Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development
• Dependable and able to work Monday-Friday 1:45 PM-6:00 PM

Nice To Haves

• College degree a plus
• Previous teaching experience with young children
• Experience in early childhood development
• Basic English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment for our preschoolers.
• Assist in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared toward hands-on learning.
• Share the Latin culture & Spanish language with the children.
• Reinforce classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement lessons and activities.
• Help each child reach their full potential through individualized attention engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
• Document children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keep parents informed of any daily problems or issues.
• Maintain positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.
