About The Position
As a Status Board Operator at The Cosmopolitan, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience through exceptional service and attention to detail. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the status of guest rooms, ensuring that all requests are processed efficiently and accurately. You will be the first point of contact for various requests from guests, including special amenities and services, and will work closely with the Front Desk and VIP Services to ensure that all needs are met promptly. Your welcoming smile and proactive approach will help create memorable experiences for our guests, making their stay truly special. In your day-to-day activities, you will update the status of guest rooms, process room assignments, and control data related to room distribution. You will receive and process rush room requests, as well as special requests from guests, such as baby cribs and extra towels. Additionally, you will run necessary reports for the Housekeeping department and ensure that the Housekeeper Assistant's reports are completed and distributed to the Assistant Hotel Manager. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will be essential in this role, as you will be handling various requests simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior experience in a hotel or resort setting will be advantageous. Your bilingual skills in Spanish will also be a significant asset in providing excellent service to our diverse clientele.
