Organization: Clinical Pharmacology and Gene Job Summary: Applies a variety of basic, intermediate and advanced statistical genetic techniques and technical skills to promote the collection, analysis and interpretation of data arising from research studies program. . A Term position is a staff position that exists for a period longer than six months but is not expected to last beyond one year. Although a position may exist for a specified or indefinite period, staff who accept term positions are not guaranteed employment for the entire period; they are employed for indefinite periods within the limit of the appointment. There are no guarantees of continued employment, either within the term or when the term ends.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates as a member of a research team on the design of a research project.
  • Assists the research team in the design of methods to collect information.
  • Participates in the development of operations and procedures for the collection, editing, verification and management of data.
  • Collaborates as a member of a research team on the implementation and analysis of a research project.
  • Implements analysis, including data verification and data correction using appropriate hardware and software for the management and analysis of data.
  • Manipulates standard data formats to create input and output formats for software.
  • Assists in the publication of research projects.
  • Participates in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing data analysis results using appropriate methods and techniques.
