About The Position

The Statistical Analysis Intern will learn about Paratransit operations, contract management practices, and the role of statistical data in evaluation of contractor performance. Essential functions include: Assisting with Suburban Paratransit Operations using statistical analysis. Tracking on-time performance and identifying trends throughout the region with suburban carriers. Analyzing trip denials and analyzing trip bookings for optimization. Testing call center phone line and On Demand phone numbers for quality control. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Economics, or other related field.
Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment, lift and carry up to 25lbs, use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
