Under the general direction of the Chief Engineer II, the Stationary Engineer in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Ronald Reagan performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance and repair of heating, air conditioning, ventilating, lighting, power, water, water treatment, and other mechanical systems in State-owned and occupied buildings in accordance with FMD guidelines and manuals. May be required to obtain an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Technician Certificate or backflow certification upon appointment.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Stationary Engineer certification.
• Ability to perform skilled work in mechanical systems operation and maintenance.
• Willingness to obtain EPA Section 608 Technician Certificate or backflow certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in facilities management or similar roles.
• Knowledge of state regulations regarding mechanical systems.
