About The Position

As a Stationary Engineer at JLL, you will be at the heart of our building operations, ensuring the seamless performance of critical mechanical and electrical systems that keep our facilities running efficiently. You will operate, maintain, and repair complex building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation controls. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environments for our clients and their occupants. Requirements

  • Valid Stationary Engineer license
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial building operations and maintenance(boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Valid driver´s license
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system interfaces
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and stand or walk for extended period

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and energy management platforms
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and LEED operations
  • Experience working in commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, or industrial settings

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers to maintain optimal building conditions
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on all mechanical and electrical systems according to established schedules
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability
  • Monitor building automation systems and adjust controls to optimize energy efficiency while ensuring occupant comfort
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of equipment readings, maintenance activities, and repair work using computerized maintenance management systems
  • Respond to emergency situations including power outages, system alarms, and equipment failures, providing immediate assessment and corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including proper chemical treatment of water systems and adherence to safety protocols
