The Research and Administrative Facilities (RAF) department manages the operations and maintenance of research and administrative buildings, including both the Bastrop and Smithville campuses. The RAF team also includes parking and transportation, audio visual and event operations, as well as the exterior site operations, all of which support all the Houston campuses and properties. Ideal candidate will have a First or Second Grade Licensed Stationary Engineer as issued by the City of Houston, a valid Class A, B, or C Texas driver's license and experience of 4 or more years working with boiler systems, chiller/cooling towers, and water treatment systems. Position is a Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The primary purpose of the Stationary Engineer position is to provide skilled work in the operation of a central chilled water and steam system physical plant. This position impacts the maintenance of equipment and machinery within the institution.
