This position involves operating and maintaining critical building systems including medium-pressure steam boilers, hot water systems, centrifugal chillers and control air compressors.
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety and Health programs and procedures.
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-pressure steam and hot water boilers.
Manage site centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and related functional equipment.
Monitor water testing, treatment protocols, and chemical usage for boilers and chilled water systems.
Oversee building automation systems for proper operation of boiler and chiller plants.
Accurate documentation and recording of all operational activities and compliance with regulations.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
Electrical troubleshooting skillset.
Ability to work swing-shift schedule.
Four (4) year experience as a medium-high pressure steam boiler operator, including troubleshooting techniques.
