About The Position

This position involves operating and maintaining critical building systems including medium-pressure steam boilers, hot water systems, centrifugal chillers and control air compressors.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting skillset.
• Ability to work swing-shift schedule.
• Four (4) year experience as a medium-high pressure steam boiler operator, including troubleshooting techniques.

Nice To Haves

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety and Health programs and procedures.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-pressure steam and hot water boilers.
• Manage site centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and related functional equipment.
• Monitor water testing, treatment protocols, and chemical usage for boilers and chilled water systems.
• Oversee building automation systems for proper operation of boiler and chiller plants.
• Accurate documentation and recording of all operational activities and compliance with regulations.
