About The Position
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a combined high-pressure heating and central refrigeration plant, or in a very large facility, for assignments that include either the operation and maintenance of a high-pressure heating plant or refrigeration plant. The role may also involve maintenance and operation of steam reducing stations, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, and various mechanical and electrical equipment and controls. The incumbent will operate, maintain, repair, and test high-pressure steam or hot water boilers, refrigeration, air conditioning, or other auxiliary distribution systems, and must have sufficient knowledge to train and direct lower-level staff in these functions.
