The INF Stationary Engineer will perform duties required to operate environmental control and other HVAC equipment, including the testing and change out of filtration components/systems. Responsibilities include the operation and preventive maintenance of centrifugal refrigeration chillers, pumps, industrial gas handling equipment, air compressors, oil handling, methanol handling, vacuum producing equipment, and water treatment systems. The role also involves performing operations of steam systems distribution and steam stations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and investigative activities to support the plant mission. The position requires the use of electric and pneumatic hand tools, motorized equipment, and may include extended work periods with safety equipment. The engineer will work inside and outside restricted areas and must complete all training and qualification requirements.
