About The Position

The Station Manager position is a full-time role based in Morrisville, NC, focused on supporting the Operations team in a safe and customer-centric manner. The role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can develop innovative solutions to complex problems, manage outside contractors, and be available for emergencies. The Station Manager will handle multiple projects and daily activities, ensuring deadlines are met while developing and tracking plans to achieve departmental and distribution goals. Collaboration with the Safety department is essential to implement and audit safety programs, and the manager will also be responsible for maintaining preventative maintenance programs and fostering good relationships with operations leadership. The role includes mentoring maintenance associates, facilitating training, and maintaining site morale and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
  • Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
  • Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in airport BHS and/or PBB Maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner.
  • Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems.
  • Manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies.
  • Handle multiple internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities.
  • Manage to and meet deadlines, and develop & track plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
  • Work with Safety department leadership to understand, implement, and audit safety programs.
  • Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
  • Facilitate technical and safety training for maintenance associates.
  • Mentor maintenance associates by motivating and providing direction.
  • Own and promote excellent housekeeping.
  • Participate in weekly network Site calls and periodic Maintenance Manager offsite conferences.
  • Provide specific feedback to enhance individual performance.
  • Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties/assignments as required by Leadership.
