About The Position

The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the station, ensuring exceptional customer service, compliance with policies and regulations, and effective team management. This role involves building partnerships with customers, reviewing operational and financial reports, and participating in employee relations investigations. The Station Manager will also recruit and train employees, manage performance, and ensure safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Valid In-State Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, rules, standards, customer requirements and governmental/regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
  • Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
  • Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed.
  • Sets, measures and manages performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving/exceeding operational and financial objectives and goals.
  • Ensures compliance with rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies and applicable laws.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
