The Station Engineer Blue Seal is responsible for operating, maintaining and being knowledgeable in all systems within the Environmental Services Facility. This includes fuel, water (hot, cold and soft), steam generation, central centrifugal chilled water systems, water vessels and pumps, along with air and suction compressors.

Requirements

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• A minimum of three (3) years boiler room experience or two (2) years boiler room experience with one (1) year maintenance in addition to one (1) year of refrigeration experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
• New Jersey Blue Seal License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all systems within the Environmental Services Facility.
• Manage fuel, water (hot, cold and soft), steam generation, and central centrifugal chilled water systems.
• Oversee water vessels and pumps, along with air and suction compressors.
