Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Station Control Technician Apprentice to join our Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Construction team. What does a Station Control Technician Apprentice do for us? A Station Control Technician Apprentice installs, commissions, and troubleshoots substation and power plant control systems, including system monitoring equipment, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Sequence of Events Recorder (SER), Digital Fault Recorder (DFR), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Remedial Action Schemes (RAS), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and protective relay, control, and communication systems.
