Position: Static Equipment Integrity Engineer Industry: Oil and Gas industry (with emphasis on LNG) Location: Beaumont, TX Responsibilities: • Act as the technical authority and final reviewer for static equipment engineering and integrity decisions. • Establish and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and templates for static equipment engineering • Lead the design review of static equipment, including pressure vessels, piping systems, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. • Review and approve specifications, datasheets, drawings, and material selection. • Ensure compliance with applicable international standards and regulatory requirements (ASME, API, ISO, etc.). • Oversee vendor document reviews, fabrication activities, and technical bid evaluations. • Support Asset Integrity Management (AIM) frameworks and governance requirements. • Review inspection findings, corrosion studies, and damage mechanism assessments. • Provide leadership in Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and other risk assessment activities. • Lead Fitness For Service (FFS) assessments and provide technical direction for advanced evaluations. o Independently perform FFS Level 1 & Level 2 assessments o Possess strong working knowledge of FFS Level 3 methodologies and applications • Develop and approve recommendations for repair, alteration, replacement, or continued operation of static equipment. • Define inspection strategies, maintenance plans, and long term lifecycle management programs. • Update program with latest regulations, standards, and integrity assessment methods. • Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). • Provide technical support for fabrication, erection, repair, and modification activities. • Interface with inspection, corrosion engineering, operations, maintenance, projects, and HSE teams. • Provide technical guidance and decision support to management and stakeholders. • Represent the organization during audits, regulatory inspections, and technical reviews. • Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers, providing technical direction and skill development. • Review and approve technical reports, calculations, and recommendations prepared by the team.
