About The Position

Centurion is currently recruiting BOARD ELIGIBLE OR BOARD-CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIST for the Georgia Statewide Psychiatric Director. The Statewide Psychiatric Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet the behavioral health and psychiatric service delivery requirements of a specific contract in collaboration with the Program Manager/Vice President of Operations (VPO). The Statewide Psychiatric Director supervises psychiatric staff and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams in providing services to patients with psychiatric disorders in a correctional setting. This position is 75% administrative and 25% Clinical. Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
  • Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
  • Board certification or board eligible in Psychiatry required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred
