About The Position

Sanctuary Hospice is currently seeking a Full-Time Compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our dedicated team providing patient care in and around Clermont, Clinton, Brown and Highland Counties. As a Hospice STNA with Sanctuary Hospice, you will play a vital role in the lives of our patients, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide essential services and ensure their comfort and well-being. Your observant and caring nature will be instrumental in maintaining the quality, continuity, and safety of our patients' care. Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program and hold current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a STNA in an acute care or LTC setting preferred.
• Hospice experience is a plus.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if state-mandated.

Responsibilities

• Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
• Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
• Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
• Impact patients' families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient's home and within agency and regulatory standards.
