About The Position

At Suncrest Hospice, our goal is to change the expectation of hospice care in your area by providing exceptional care and service to our patients. This is achieved by allocating the resources to increase our staff to patient ratios, thereby increasing clinical visits while lowering clinician caseloads. Requirements

• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certified.
• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Eager to gain a higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education.
• Able to work independently and on your own on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans.
• Work under the direction of a Case Manager/DON.
• Coordinate the proper types of care to residents with other licensed care staff.
• Strictly follow all Company nursing policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines.
