About The Position

State Street's Systematic Equity Investment Team manages over $3 trillion of the firm's $5+ trillion in assets under management. The team oversees a diverse range of strategies including Indexed Equity, Smart Beta, and Active Quantitative Equity. We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join the Client Portfolio Management (CPM) Team within Systematic Equity. The CPM team serves as subject matter experts and the primary client-facing representatives of the investment team, supporting client meetings, new business opportunities, and the development of messaging, collateral, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Pursuing coursework in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Interest in asset management and quantitative finance

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of client-facing materials and investment collateral
• Support business analytics and reporting efforts
• Respond to ad hoc requests from distribution and relationship management teams
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and strategic messaging
• Collaborate with investment professionals across the team to gain exposure to systematic equity strategies
