About The Position

The State Street Alpha Professional Development Program is a two-year leadership initiative aimed at developing entry-level employees within State Street Alpha. Participants will engage in various short-term placements across different business lines, gaining essential training and hands-on experience to prepare them for permanent roles within the organization upon completion of the program.

Requirements

• Graduating no later than spring 2025.
• B.S. Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar fields.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to engage others.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Project management skills and/or certification preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau Reader, and Excel.
• Soft skills such as problem-solving and initiative-taking.

Responsibilities

• Participate in intensive orientation and training at State Street's Boston offices.
• Engage in multiple cross-functional and cross-business rotational job assignments.
• Access training courses on Alpha and essential business skills.
• Conduct project management activities.
• Gather, configure, map, and analyze operational and technology data.
• Develop procedures and strategies for rollout and communication.
• Assist with client onboarding and implementation activities.
• Perform financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Evaluate competitor and prospective partner market data.
