About The Position

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a State President for the state of Colorado. Summary Directs and coordinates all phases and activities of the wholesale beer, spirit, and wine distribution process at the Denver Branch location. Oversees the safe working environment that is conducive to good business practices. Obtains optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Ensures compliance with State, Federal and local laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle insurance reflecting company standards. 100/300/50 minimum limits of liability
  • knowledge of Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals to obtain and/or exceed sales goals.
  • Coordinates activities within the branch location to effect operational efficiency and economy.
  • Develops, grows and maintains supplier relationships.
  • Develops sales programs and sales goals for future programs.
  • Directs and coordinates promotion of products and services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry.
  • Analyzes department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
  • Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
  • Directs preparation of directives to division or department administrator outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be implemented.
  • Coordinates pricing and pricing strategies.
  • Promotes organization in industry and trade associations.
  • Monitors deal compliance, bill backs, projections brand strategy, and brand profits.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
