Job Description: Crowe’s State and Local Tax (SALT) team delivers value by helping clients effectively navigate and manage their state and local income and franchise tax obligations. We are seeking a SALT Senior Manager to join our Lead Tax Services group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • CPA, JD/LLM, or CMI required
  • Minimum of 8 years of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
  • Possess strong research, writing skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • The individual will be expected to coordinate, plan and manage client engagements and delivery of client work within state and local income tax.
  • They will serve as the main client contact responsible for providing exceptional client service.
  • They will be responsible for managing and developing our staff, senior staff and managers, through coaching and training.
  • They will be expected to build an external network, assist with sales and cross-collaboration efforts and support thought leadership for state and local tax.
  • They will also be expected to assist in transformation efforts for state and local tax.
