About The Position

This State & Local Tax (SALT) Associate will work on various state and local tax projects for the various service lines within SALT so the candidate should possess the ability to develop strong technical skills. This candidate will also assist in growing Crowe's SALT practice and being actively involved in the community. The candidate must exhibit a professional demeanor and work successfully in a team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
• Must be qualified to sit for the CPA or possess a CPA
• State income/franchise tax consulting and compliance experience required
• Must possess strong research and writing skills and possess strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Must be willing to work overtime during busy season and as required
• Travel is limited, although some overnight travel may be required
