About The Position

The State Land Board Right-of-way and Renewable Energy Technician position is responsible for supporting the processing of contracts and leases related to rights-of-way, renewable energy, and tower business lines. This role involves utilizing various software tools to manage contracts, ensure compliance with established guidelines, and identify opportunities for process improvement. The technician plays a crucial role in facilitating the execution of contracts that impact Colorado's natural resources and contribute to the state's development and conservation efforts.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in an office environment performing administrative support functions related to contract processing and data management.
• A combination of related education and/or relevant experience equal to three years, with degrees in paralegal studies, business administration, or communications being relevant.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organized and professional with a strong self-motivated work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience coordinating work processes in land use for renewable energy and/or rights-of-way.
• Experience using CRM databases and GIS or other land-based information databases.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Process contracts and leases for rights-of-way, renewable energy, and tower business lines.
• Utilize software tools such as NetSuite, Laserfiche, and Microsoft products to manage contract documentation.
• Follow established processing guidelines and administer file management protocols.
