About The Position
The position is responsible for managing three business programs related to the leasing and stewardship of state trust land and mineral assets. The role involves independent contributions to program results while ensuring successful integration with other agency programs. The position serves as a critical connection to the Board of Commissioners, informing them for quality decision-making. The primary responsibilities include managing Geologic Carbon Capture Storage (CCS), Rights-of-way (ROWs), and Tower Site Leasing. The CCS program involves developing and managing a leasing business for carbon capture projects, while the ROWs program manages existing and new rights-of-way for various infrastructure. The Tower Site Leasing program oversees the leasing of state trust land for communication tower sites.
