About the position
We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Primary state inspector, conduct up to 50 state inspections per week along with oil changes.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
- Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management.
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guest's vehicle.
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Requirements
- Current VA state inspectors license.
- 2+ years of experience as a lube/general service technician.
- Current driver’s licenses.
- Basic mechanic experience.
