Contribute to the research mission of IIHR-Hydroscience and Engineering and the Iowa Geological Survey (IGS) by conducting basic and applied research in general areas of geology, hydrogeology, groundwater-surface water interactions, and fate and transport of chemicals in the environment. Facilitate interaction between research programs in hydrology, hydraulics, surficial and bedrock geology, and water sustainability. Provide leadership in geological survey programs serving the state of Iowa. This position is based on-campus. This position is not eligible for permanent residency sponsorship.The hiring unit will not fund the $100,000 paymentâ¯associated with H-1B sponsorship either upon hire or during international travel.
