About The Position
The State Budget Office (SBO) is responsible for developing the governor's Executive Budget recommendation, presenting budget recommendations to the Legislature, and implementing the approved budget signed by the governor. We are currently looking to fill the Health Services Division Director position within the Office of Health and Human Services (OHHS). This position is responsible for the management and direction of the Division of Health Services within OHHS. The division is responsible for policy analysis and budget development in assigned areas, including Medicaid, Behavioral Health, Public Health, and Aging Services. The Health Services Division Director coordinates and directs the work of budget analysts within the office in presenting recommendations to the State Budget Office management and to the Governor relating to the development and presentation of the annual Executive Budget. The position also directs staff activities to implement the budget upon enactment.
