About The Position

The State Clinical Director provides strategic leadership and oversight to clinical teams across all facilities within the state. This role is responsible for supervising, mentoring, and coaching clinicians at a statewide level, ensuring that all clients and families receive high-quality, effective services that meet their needs. The State Clinical Director is accountable for the overall performance and outcomes of the clinical teams, and ensures consistent implementation, effective management, and continuous improvement of clinical policies and procedures throughout the state.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Education, Psychology or related field, BCBA Certification
  • Must possess and maintain a Board Certified Behavior Analysis certification credential by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
  • Must possess and maintain a Arizona State Board Certified Behavior Analysis certification credential by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a management position

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that Clinical BCBAs in the state meet the requirements of the instructional program, reviewing assessments and insurance reports of Clinical BCBAs, and reviewing, editing, and approving behavior guidelines.
  • Supervises the implementation of programs and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the state or facility and participates in providing input into management recommendations and decisions for the operations of Circle City ABA’s clinical programs.
  • Ensures staff assigned to clinical programs meet the productivity requirements budgeted for the respective positions.
  • Ensure consistent implementation, effective management, and continuous improvement of clinical policies and procedures throughout the state.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors the quality of assigned programs per agency goals and objectives.
  • Work directly and indirectly, using ABA best practices for clients and families through development and supervision of individual treatment plans, behavior interventions, direct care staff, and family training, ongoing support and treatment plan updates, and ongoing data review.
  • Hires evaluates and supervises clinical staff. Assists with coordination, development, and supervision of training for the clinical team. This includes scheduling, coaching, development, and mentoring of clinicians as needed.
  • Evaluates needs and recommend opportunities for business development and expansion.
  • Responsible for representing the organization and communicating information about programs within the community when needed.
  • Serve as an interim in positions of vacancy or prolonged absence.
  • Responsible for understanding the operational objectives and current operations and developing ideas on how to improve those operational objectives.
  • Provide supervision of behavior technicians working with clients as needed.
