About The Position
The State Attorney's Office, 15th Judicial Circuit, is currently accepting applications for an INVESTIGATOR I. This is an AT WILL POSITION. Special notes include that only applicants with current law enforcement certification will be considered. A high school diploma or equivalency and four (4) years of sworn investigative or sworn law enforcement experience in specified areas is required. Special preference will be given to bilingual applicants with Florida Law Enforcement Certification and a college degree. This position requires a physician's assessment (physical exam) to ensure the applicant is capable of performing the essential functions of a law enforcement officer; a security background check, including fingerprinting, verification of prior employment, a neighborhood check, and successful completion of a drug test as a condition of employment. Some travel is required.
