About The Position
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) audit and compliance manager serves as DTMB's central point of contact for audits and is responsible for proactively coordinating, monitoring, and providing oversight of internal and external audits and related activities for the department. This position leads the DTMB Audit Office and directs the work of the staff within the office. This position leads the department's internal control evaluation (ICE) efforts, which is a complex continuous process that is reported to the governor biennially and requires coordination with all functions and work areas within the department. This position monitors and provides periodic reports on compliance with audit recommendations and corrective action plans identified during audits and biennial internal control evaluations to ensure timely remediation. The position is also responsible for managing the department's risk profile and executing proactive strategies to mitigate department risks.
