About The Position

Students Today Alumni Tomorrow ( STAT ) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to join our program. As a STAT Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in connecting with alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Join STAT and help increase engagement, scholarship funding, program and activities budgets, and campus services for every student! This part-time student employment opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while you build your skills in sales, communication, fundraising, technology, and relationship management while reaching out to supporters of the University. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for students who want to make a difference, and can give you a head start in virtually any career. Shift times are Monday-Thursday 5:30-8:30 PM, and Friday 3-6 PM. There is an opportunity to continue into future terms. All class years are encouraged to apply!

Requirements

Comfortable speaking to people on the phone
Detail-oriented with organizational skills
Enthusiastic, respectful, and reliable
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Open to giving and receiving feedback
Able to handle personal information with extreme sensitivity and confidentiality
Available to work two of the scheduled shifts listed above

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with University of Portland and its philanthropic initiatives is a plus
Preferences will be given to students with Federal Work Study in their Financial Aid package
