About The Position

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Partner Development Representative to redefine the IT Industry. This role offers the exciting opportunity to recruit, enable, and grow the ecosystem of Amazon Partner Network (APN) Startup partners. A primary responsibility involves onboarding new startup ISV partners to APN and the Global Startup Program, requiring the ability to identify, prioritize, and build relationships with the most strategic of these partners. You will focus on helping these partners build the proper foundation for a long-term partnership with AWS. The successful candidate will be eager to learn how to influence decision-makers at the executive level, possess the proven ability to interact with many stakeholders, and demonstrate strategic thinking, tactical execution, and clear communication. Success criteria for this position will be heavily metrics-driven, requiring contribution to the build-out of a scalable process to manage a large volume of partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • 3+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new Startup partners to APN
  • Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement, technical and go-to-market requests.
  • Enable startup partners to graduate to Startup Partner Development Manager (PDM) coverage
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to improve process and execution.
  • Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics.
