Perform a variety of functions to ensure that the golf pro-shop and its ancillary components are operated in an efficient and professional manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities.) • Excellent customer service skills. Greeting members and guests in a courteous and professional manner. • Perform a variety of tasks to schedule, assign and announce tee times for customers. • Use of proprietary software. Must be comfortable with computers in general and computerized transactions in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment. • Responsible for end of day procedures including all cash/credit transactions. • Ability to promote product and handle sales transactions from start to finish. • Knowledge of all aspects of the pro-shop environment including but not limited to: golf fees, golf cart rentals, merchandise, food and beverage concessions. • Ability to make change and handle money. • Ability to explain course policies, procedures, and rules. • Professional and efficient resolution handling complaints. • Ability to multi-task during the work shift. • Operates and cleans all food/beverage equipment in pro-shop and patio areas. • Punctual attendance and follow time clock procedures per company policy. • Must be flexible with schedule and duties. • Ability to work as a team throughout the work shift. • Must follow preventative maintenance guidelines regarding cart fleet. • Possible janitorial duties in and around clubhouse / cart storage area. • Any other duties as assigned.
