About The Position

Starlink is the world’s largest satellite constellation and is providing fast, reliable internet to 7M+ users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system – thousands of satellites, consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class CNC Machinists to help maximize Starlink’s utility for communities and businesses around the globe.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 10 years of experience in set up, operation and programming of CNC Mill/lathe machines
  • G-code experience

Nice To Haves

  • Short run, prototype, non-production machining experience
  • Horizontal Mill experience
  • Programming experience
  • Experience running lathes + live tooling

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 Axis mills and 6 axis lathes
  • Must be proficient at all types of drilling, tapping and milling and turning
  • Must be able to complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
  • Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
  • Material prep, deburring parts, hauling chips, oiling machines, sweeping up and initiating or assisting in organizational tasks

  • Starlink Development CNC Machinist/Level 5: $43.00 - $52.00/hour
