About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing finished products according to correct length, shape, and orientation according to customer and/or product requirements using hand- and air-powered tools. Key Job Responsibilities Read and understand blueprints and job routers. Must have assembly skills and be willing and able to use all the needed hand tools/air tools needed. Must be able to use or be trained to use a Bandsaw, Drill-press, Thermal press, and Sonic welder. Can identify and report any material or quality issues. Must be able to Learn and identify product and be able to correctly set up jobs and pull correct inventory per job, with assistance of lead and material handlers. Test and quality check products prior to packing and shipping, includes use of Visual fault light tester, calipers, and certain air tools. Neatly and efficiently be able to package and stack product for shipment to customer, includes use of a utility knife, tape-dispenser gun, and packaging foam. Must have good math skills and be able to recognize and report any inventory issues. Safely pull and move inventory with a pallet jack. Must communicate effectively with Management and well as all team members. Promote a safe and friendly work environment and adhere to company policies. Must keep a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform all other duties as assigned to by Management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent may be required
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Must be able to use hand tools and products such as a heat sealer, tape dispenser, and box cutter.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.
  • Understand and support company policies and procedures.
  • Safety conscious behavior
  • Excellent attendance
  • Ability to work with various types of assembly constraints with guidance
  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs frequently
  • Squat, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently.
  • Sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a 55–85-degree Fahrenheit work environment
