Following all safety rules and practices. Accurately weighing waste bales, and recording bale weights on bale tallies Loading waste bales into rail cars. Feeding waste into the hogger. Obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed. Maintaining a clean and organized baler room. Loading seconds and other non-shredded waste into trucks for shipment. Working with returned goods. Cleaning the baler and notifying maintenance of problems as necessary. Salvaging materials for protection sheets and other uses. Receiving materials and supplies. Performing other duties as directed by the planner. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.
