As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our Starbucks store located at Wind Creek Casino. You will lead a team of baristas, ensuring exceptional customer service, product quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include supervising shifts, training and coaching team members, and maintaining operational standards.   • Lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Supervise shifts and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, taking and preparing orders, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure the highest standards of coffee and food quality.
  • Oversee the preparation of beverages and food items, adhering to Starbucks recipes and guidelines.
  • Train new baristas on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies and managing stock rotation.
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register accurately.
  • Ensure cash-handling policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety practices.
  • Assist the Store Manager in creating and managing shift schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak hours.
  • Complete paperwork, reports, and administrative tasks as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a coffee shop or restaurant setting.
  • Passion for coffee and a strong knowledge of Starbucks products and standards (Starbucks Barista Certification is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle pressure effectively.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
