About The Position

Bon Appetit is hiring immediately for a full-time Starbucks Shift Supervisor position at Wingate University Starbucks. The role involves directing the activities of associates during a specific shift, ensuring that job expectations are met while maintaining company policies and procedures. The position requires prior barista/coffee shop experience, and prior supervisory experience is preferred. The schedule is full-time with varying days and hours, and open availability is preferred. The pay rate is fixed at $17.00 per hour, with additional earnings for specific shifts.

Requirements

• Prior supervisor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining those who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.
• Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees, encouraging them to set goals and strive for advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
