Requirements

• Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and providing quality handcrafted beverages and food.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management.
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks and follow routines to ensure a consistent experience.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the day.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
• Produce items to specifications and follow department routines for food preparation.
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items as outlined in best practices.
• Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space as outlined in best practices.
• Follow proper packaging and labeling guidelines for food products and ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process them according to best practices.
• Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders and following inventory procedures.
• Execute sampling best practices and create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically.
• Observe guest body language and verbal cues to tailor interactions and provide assistance as needed.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to enhance guest experience.
• Thank guests genuinely and express appreciation for their choice to shop at Target.
• Complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct and safety.
