About The Position

Responsible for the production of a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from a complex combination of ingredients, according to standardized recipes. This role requires working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, utilizing specialized kitchen equipment, and ensuring product quality. The Barista must maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area and create an excellent customer experience. Essential functions include learning and retaining beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes, multitasking across duties such as recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation. The position also involves operating and cleaning specialized kitchen equipment, troubleshooting equipment issues, identifying and correcting quality issues, and preparing for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections. A key aspect is creating personalized customer experiences, demonstrating product knowledge, fulfilling specific requests accurately, and performing effective service recovery when products do not meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Responsible for preparation for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections
  • Create personalized experiences for the customers while demonstrating knowledge of products and accuracy in fulfilling highly specific customer requests
  • Perform effective service recovery if the products do not meet the customer’s expectations
