About The Position
Salt Lake City Marriott University Park is a beautiful hotel near the University of Utah with gorgeous mountain and city views, modern amenities and an excellent location adjacent to Rice-Eccles Stadium, our hotel provides smart, stylish lodging for business and leisure travelers visiting the Salt Lake City area. Hotel discounts for associates including free shift meals and on-site parking. Starbucks Barista (Part-Time) 12.50/hr + tips. Friday - Monday Availability needed. Provide quality beverages, such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Week, Whole Bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Greet guests professionally. Take orders while paying attention to details. Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins. Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards). Keep the bar area and storage rooms clean and restocked.
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Barista or Server preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Previous guest service experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
- Other duties may be assigned.
