About The Position

We are hiring a Barista to join our team! To join our team as a Barista, all we ask is you bring a passion for bringing joy to our customers. Working in a Starbucks store is different from any other job. You’re creating genuine moments of connection with our customers and making a difference to their day, through creating handcraft delicious beverages and building relationships with our customers and with your fellow partners in store. We want you to be your true authentic self at work because here you belong. You must be adaptable and flexible team player with ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet goals. The Barista provides excellent guest service, barista duties, including cash handling, use of electronic sale systems, ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed, complete all daily required side work and checklists.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent guest service
Perform barista duties, including cash handling
Use electronic sale systems
Ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed
Complete all daily required side work and checklists
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
Perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
