About The Position

The StarRez System Manager for Housing and Residence Life at Ball State University is responsible for managing and enhancing the StarRez Housing Management system. This role involves overseeing back-end testing, development of housing contracts, and streamlining system processes. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with system configuration experience with the StarRez Housing Management system.
• Significant experience with SQL or StarQL is required.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting computer systems including system integrations.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• Experience working with SIS products such as Banner.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT development for web-based processes in Housing and Residence Life, including housing applications, contracting and leasing processes, and other housing management system processes.
• Collaborate on StarRez work order integration with TMA, including testing, updating, and troubleshooting.
• Support University Apartment staff with back-end processes, reporting, and troubleshooting of client set-up and bookings.
• Develop documentation for web-based processes in Housing and Residence Life.
• Create training materials for web-based processes for various staff levels in Housing and Residence Life.
• Collaborate with campus partners and/or vendors to maintain and troubleshoot system integrations for building access, meal plan loads, and demographic loads.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
