About The Position

This individual will oversee and lead a team of fence installers in the field, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of temporary fences according to specifications. This individual will also be the point of contact and oversee other employees at the branch site or onsite at customer locations and provide administrative office support for Star Sanitation. Maintains a DOT clearance, Class A or B Commercial license, Tank Endorsement or C with 2 years of commercial driving with the ability to operate vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,000lbs or less.

Requirements

  • Experienced in a similar work environment with a proven track record of strong organizational skills, effective decision-making and excellent people skills a plus.
  • Provide and maintain a clean driving record and 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Maintain DOT clearance and Class A or B Commercial license with Tank Endorsement or Class C.
  • Ability to operate vehicles with a (GVWR) of 26,001lbs or less.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welding, cutting, and measuring tools.
  • Direct and supervise fencing projects as needed (building fence panels and gates).
  • Assist with the delivery of units to customer sites (load, transport, and unload) when drivers are needed for big orders during special events.
  • Supervise fencing projects as needed (loading/unloading materials and installing onsite).
  • Assist with moving company equipment and loading/unloading supplies using a forklift (MUST be forklift certified by the company).
  • Assist with the delivery of units to customer sites (load, transport, and unload) when drivers are needed for big orders during special events.
  • Assist with timecard verification and submission for Fence support.
  • Assist in the new process hire registration into the time clock for Fence support.
  • Facilitate a new hire facility tour for Fence support.
  • Set up new hire candidate interviews for Yard and Fence support.
  • Assist in the new process for employee Time Off Requests for Fence support.
  • Liaison contact between office staff and Fence support.
  • Conduct staff meetings, huddles, or training sessions for Fence support.
  • Answer phone lines in a professional manner, take messages, and/or redirect calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Greet customers coming into the office, assist with their inquiries, and/or redirect them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Handle customer/field operations calls in a timely, positive, and professional manner.
  • Answer all vendor inquiries in a professional and positive manner.
  • Redirect customer inquiries to appropriate personnel during the delivery of units.
  • Flexible working different shifts during the peak season or special events.
  • Consistently ensures outstanding customer service through the timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Ensures the use of equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner, following established safety procedures, using appropriate safeguards, and observing common sense rules of safety in all on the job activities.
  • Establishes and maintains effective channels of communications with management, coworkers, vendors and all other business contacts.
  • Conducts self in a manner reflecting positively on PAR and STAR and encourages others to do the same.
  • Is organized, independent and self motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, detail oriented, flexible in scheduling and prioritization, and driven by excellence.

  • Maintain a DOT clearance, valid Class A or B Commercial license with Tank Endorsement or C, and a good driving record (if authorized to drive by Insurance Company).
  • Requires 2 years of commercial driving with the ability to operate vehicles with a (GVWR) of 26,000lbs or less.
  • Must be eligible to be added to company insurance.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
