Supporting Transitions and Reentry (STAR) Clinician
About The Position
The Supporting Transitions and Reentry (STAR) Clinician is responsible for: Utilizing assessment, group treatment, and relationships with community services for justice involved individuals. Educating offenders according to the approved curriculum and completes all required documentation in the case record. Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed. Monitoring offender compliance with all programs and ECSD rules and regulations Facilitating classes and group sessions Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, conferences and other meetings as directed Working cooperatively with ECSD personnel to ensure smooth operation and coordination of the program
Requirements
- BA/MA or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required
- Must attend annual mandatory in-service and education programs.
- Must complete education required for maintenance of professional certification or licensure if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- CADC or LADC preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
