The Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (SLP) is a high-profile rotational program designed to accelerate the development of future leaders in Sales, Channel, and Brand Management. This program is geared toward recent graduates with Sales internship experience and a relevant degree. Participants will work in three rotations across various locations in the United States, gaining invaluable experiences in Retail, Commercial & Industrial End User, and Sales Support. Each rotation will provide insights into the company's operations and go-to-market strategies, preparing early-career associates for challenging developmental opportunities.

  • Work onsite within retail stores to gain product knowledge and drive End User Sales and Engagement.
  • Conduct store presentations to Key Decision Makers and recognize sales and service opportunities.
  • Train and educate store associates to drive End User Sales and meet sales goals.
  • Engage with professional end users and learn the End User Development process.
  • Provide operational and analytical support to the Tools & Outdoor sales teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Track and follow-up on price blocks, product quality issues, and delayed shipments.
  • Analyze promotions and track program effectiveness.
  • Manage competitive retail comparisons and execute merchandising improvements.
  • Develop training materials and manage sales technology and analytics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Communications, Psychology, Business or related majors.
  • Recent graduates or early career professionals with less than 2 years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership values and core professional skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyze Power BI and Salesforce data to develop strategic growth plans.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to achieve strong sales results.
  • Effective communicator with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of IT Business systems and Microsoft Applications.
  • Experience in retail or sales environments.
  • Familiarity with tools and outdoor products.
  • Previous leadership roles or involvement in extracurricular activities.
