About The Position

The Stand Up Reach Truck Operator position at PFG Customized Distribution involves working in a freezer environment to transport freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots on multi-level racks. The operator is responsible for replenishing and re-stocking pick slots in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards. The role requires functioning as a team member and performing various duties to support the company's operations. The work schedule includes Saturday night into Sunday, and Sunday through Wednesday nights, with specific hours outlined for each shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 Months to 1 year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to work scheduled, assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-30 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.
• Pallet jack and/or forklift certified.
• OSHA Forklift operator certificate.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots.
• Replenish and re-stock pick slots in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and quality standards.
• Follow preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and prepare for operations.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature and quality checks.
• Enter product data and location into RF unit.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock and remove outdated inventory.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the work area.
• Complete vehicle inspection checklist and secure equipment at the end of the shift.

Benefits
