Bashas' Stand Up Forklift Operator - Night Shift - Distribution Center
About The Position
Night Shift - 11pm start time; shifts ends when all work is complete JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary purpose of this position is to put away incoming product off the receiving dock into overhead storage and pick slots utilizing a stand-up reach truck and to line up pallet with pallet location potentially 24 feet in the air. Must be able to work in a warehouse with varying temperature ranges from dry select( 40 to 105 degrees), refrigerated select (35 to 55 degrees) and freezer select (32 to -20 degrees). Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment aptitude test, background check and drug test.
- A minimum of one year experience operating a stand up reach truck in a high volume production based environment.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and rotating days off schedule.
Responsibilities
- Must use hand eye coordination to line up pallets with pallet location
- May require associate to remove box tops from cases and feed cases into flow racks and various pick slots.
- Must meet production rates
- Must also perform all other assigned general warehouse duties as needed or assigned by management.
- Rotating days off; one weekend off per month; length of the shift may vary (usually 8-10 hours).
- Safety sensitive position.
