About The Position

The Stand Up Forklift Operator at Pactiv Evergreen is responsible for operating forklifts to ensure smooth production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Preferred 1 year of experience operating stand-up (reach truck) forklifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to read and interpret job dockets and complete material order forms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with clamp forklifts is a plus.
• Willingness to learn how to operate reach trucks if not already experienced.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move and transfer materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment.
• Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, and policies.
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
• Support SAP functions related to inventory and load management, including pick lists and PGI.
• Assist team members in daily assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and accountability in all transferring tasks.
