The Stand Up Forklift Operator at Pactiv Evergreen is responsible for operating forklifts to ensure smooth production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires a focus on safety, accuracy, and effective communication while moving materials and finished goods. The position offers a structured shift schedule and opportunities for career growth within a leading packaging company.

Operate forklifts to move and transfer materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment.
Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, and policies.
Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
Support SAP functions related to inventory and load management, including pick lists and PGI.
Assist team members in daily assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy and accountability in all transferring tasks.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts.
Preferred 1 year of experience operating stand-up (reach truck) forklifts.
Ability to stand for long periods and move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Ability to read and interpret job dockets and complete material order forms.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Experience with clamp forklifts is a plus.
Willingness to learn how to operate reach trucks if not already experienced.
